Planet Uranus

Information From : NASA

_______________________________

Uranus, a lifeless planet, is made of water, methane, and ammonia fluids above a small rocky center. Like Jupiter and Saturn, its atmosphere is made of hydrogen and helium but it also has methane. The methane makes Uranus appear to be blue. Uranus has a total of 27 moons and has faint rings. The inner rings are narrow and dark while the outer rings are brightly colored and easier to see. Like Venus, Uranus rotates in the opposite direction from most planets and unlike any other planet, Uranus rotates on its side. Its unique rotation creates the planet’s unique seasons. Uranus experiences 21 years of nighttime in the winter, 21 years of daytime in the summer, and 42 years of both daytime and nighttime in the spring and fall.
